What’s it all about?
As a Structural Engineer you collaborate and assist with engineering and if applicable design activities which are assigned to you. Depending on your performance and you will be involved with more complex designs and calculations in time.
What will you do as an Structural Engineer?
In general, you know your structural calculations and you are an advanced user of SACS software. You are generating concept, basic and detail structural design for sub-structures such as jackets, gravity base foundations, monopiles (MP) & transition pieces (TP) for WTGs and sub-structures and topsides for OSS. You will be performing the necessary design analyses and studies with accompanying reports.

Where are you going to work?
You will be working at our office in Rotterdam with the flexibility to work 50% of your time from home. Working with KCI means that you will be part of an multicultural team of professionals in an informal and collegiate working atmosphere. To ensure a nice balance between work and fun, various social events and activities are being organized as well! The department where you will be working consists of approximately 30 Structural (Lead) Designers and (Lead) Engineers.

What else is required for the job?
KCI Offshore Engineering considers it important for this position that you bring the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering;
- Vocational: knowledge and insight are required for the application of practical methods and techniques, work procedures and processes. Knowledge is typically acquired through technical training
- VCA training
- University level in Engineering.
- Operational skills commensurate with role and responsibility;
- Knowledge of and experience with MS Office;
- Generally good computer skills;
- Able to build and maintain high level of professional relationships with colleagues;
- A team player within both the engineering group and the company as a whole;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment;
- Accurate and exact;
